Frequently Asked Questions 

  • An RD/RDN is the only food and nutrition expert who has completed a minimum of a Bachelor's degree at a U.S. accredited university or college, has completed at least 1,200 supervised hours from an accredited practice program, has passed a national board exam, and has completed continuing education to maintain credentials.

    An LND/LDN is a state license that indicates a professional has met the state requirements for licensure. Puerto Rico requires an LND to provide and/or bill for Medical Nutrition Therapy.

  • Accepted payment methods are HSA/FSA accounts, credit cards, or debit cards, and all payments are final. We currently do not accept health insurance. However, a superbill can be provided for you to submit to your Health Insurance for possible reimbursement.

  • We only offer in-person consulting services for Team & Sports Nutrition-related services. Contact us for a quote.

    Prevention Nutrition, Behavioral/Mental Health Nutrition, and Fitness Coaching services are only provided via virtual counseling.

    **May involve Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). Interested patients must be screened for needs and state of residence before receiving virtual nutrition services. Request an orientation here.
